RSE, a clean water technology company, has unveiled a significant restructuring of its controls and automation portfolio, consolidating it under a new entity: RSE Control Systems. This move, which brings together five distinct businesses—GPS Group, Blackburn Starling & Co, Saftronics, Technical Control Systems, and Amber Integrated Controls & Automation—aims to bolster the company’s presence in the UK municipal water and industrial sectors.
With a national footprint comprising nine office locations, five manufacturing sites, and five software hubs, RSE Control Systems now boasts an integrated team of over 400 professionals. This consolidation is expected to enhance the company’s ability to deliver end-to-end control and automation solutions, including motor control centres, control panels, power distribution, and process control systems, all seamlessly integrated with industry-leading software.
The new entity already serves a prestigious client list, including nine major water companies, Siemens, and Baker Hughes. Stephen Slessor, CEO at RSE, emphasized the strategic importance of this consolidation: “Each of these businesses has a long and respected history in the controls and automation sector. Bringing them together under one identity combines that heritage with the scale and capability needed to meet the growing demands of the UK water and industrial markets.”
