Brazil’s PROMETEU Project Revolutionizes Forest Fire Monitoring with Embedded Systems

The SAPHIRA 3 family, for instance, is already making waves. “We’ve seen remarkable results with SAPHIRA 3,” Oliveira shares. “It’s capable of collecting vast amounts of atmospheric and terrestrial data, including carbon monoxide levels, particulate matter, and even flame temperature analysis.” Equipped with GPS modules, these systems generate detailed maps that offer a comprehensive view of forest fires and the effectiveness of firefighting efforts.
